I recently posted a few tips on the best ways to meal prep in an Instagram post, and it got me thinking.
Planning your meals and knowing what you are going to eat IN ADVANCE is the key to maintaining a healthy lifestyle and also to eating healthy within a specific budget. Eating healthy does not have to be expensive, and it does not have to be difficult or time-consuming.
I’ve put together a few tools that I think will be really helpful for you in planning YOUR weekly meals. Use these how you see fit – to plan your meals, your family’s meals, or get a workout partner and meal prep both of your meals together! It’s so much easier to eat healthy when someone else is living the same lifestyle. Trust me on this one…surrounding yourself with people who do not understand your goals will certainly lead to a slip. I’m not saying to say goodbye to everyone that likes to eat donuts…BUT…maybe just help them to understand that you won’t eat donuts with them anymore. Communication is key here! Not everyone will understand, but it’s important to communicate that you are trying to live a healthier lifestyle. Most people will respect that.
So, without further to do…I’ve included a weekly meal planner and grocery list below! Feel free to download, print, and USE them!
